If you are worried about not having ever been on a bike before, then don't!  Our Compulsory Basic Training {CBT} starts from scratch and we assume little or no motorcycling experience. Our aim is to build Confidence, Safety and motorcycle Control in all our students. 

We expect that all our student have a good knowledge of the Highway Code as during the day we will cover the topic of Road Safety. To find out more on the Elements use the links below.

COURSE PRICING


What you NEED to Bring with you !!

  • Licence - If you have the New Photo licence then bring BOTH Parts {licence& Counter part} You will not be able to conduct the training with out it ...... So to avoid disappointment make sure you have them.
    Paper type - All you need to do is bring it with you ........

  • Insurance - If you are on your OWN bike then you MUST bring a valid insurance certificate with you ........ You will not be allowed to do your training on your own bike unless you can show it. If you need help getting insurance give us a call ..... we may be able to help.
  • MOT - If YOUR bike is older than three years then before you can venture on the road We will have to see your valid MOT certificate
  • Road Tax - If you are using YOUR own bike then it must be showing a valid road fund licence {Road Tax} if not you will not be able to use it on the road ...... Sorry but that's the LAW


Attending the Compulsory Basic Training {CBT} is a requirement by law before taking to the road and is also a fantastic introduction to motorcycling.

  • Building skills and confidence: {We make sure that we take the course at your speed not ours}
  • U-turn maneuver {offroad toagain build the nessesery skills}
  • Left / Right Hand Turns & the correct use of observations.
  • Emergancy Stop {Again done offroad to build your skill and confidence}

Certification

Provided you have reached a satisfactory level of competence, a certificate of completion of approved training will be issued and you may now ride on the road with L Plate plates. 

If you do not reach the required standard within the training session, extra tuition will be arranged.

We can supply you with Helmet, Gloves, and Wet Weather Gear for the fantastic Scottish weather.
