You must be at least 16 years old, and hold a current UK provisional Licence. This is the entry level you can only do your C.B.T, this will allow you to ride a 50cc moped geared or automatic as a learner with You must NOT carry any passengers or use a motorway. If you are 17+ and hold a current UK provisional Licence. You may ride a motorcycle up to a 125cc {or less than 11 Kw or 16.6 BHP {Brake Horse Power}. with you must NOT carry any passengers or use a motorway. Full Restricted Licence 17 years old You 1st need a valid CBT then you must complete a Motorcycle Theory & Hazard Perception Test. When you have this apply for your Driving test, at least 2 weeks after, this will give us plenty of time to get you up to test standard. You can start your training before the above, it just means you can not apply for your driving test. Once you have passed your test on a 125cc bike then you may ride any size motorcycle that has been restricted to 25Kw / 33 BHP for 2 years after this you can ride without restriction on a full power machine. NOTE: The motorcycle's restriction kit must be installed by an authorized main dealer and registered with the D.V.L.A as such on the log book, you will also get a certificate to prove the restrictions have been done. Full licence: Direct Access {DAS} Motorcycle Theory & Hazard Perception Test. When you have this apply for your Driving test, at least 2 weeks after, we will train you to test standard on a machine of 500cc and over 47.6 BHP. You can start your training before the above, it just means you can not apply for your driving test.When you have passed your test you may ride any motorcycle of any size without power restrictions, alsoyou may carry passengers and use motorways.
