Aged 17 and would like to pass your
Full Motorcycle test ???

We offer a range of training structured around your individual needs, from standard block / intensive training, complete days to hourly lessons. If you have some previous experience this will reduce your training time and to help you with this we can arrange a free assessment lesson* so as to provide you with the correct amount of training.

All training should culminate in a test giving you the licence you want with minimum fuss.

Training usually starts by doing the CBT independently of any intended period of training, unless you have previously completed a CBT and it is still valid. CBT will usually last for 6-7 hours and is completed in one day. From there depending on your preference for training we can offer you the course which suits you best.

Training courses

The training day is based around your needs and requirments. I find that a break is required every hour as concentration is getting strained by this point.

The following courses of training are available:

Lessons in hourly packages over a period of time to suit you
Individual training package to suit you

Must hold a valid CBT Certificate & Driving Licence

UK learner bike specification

The UK learner motorcycle specification is an engine size up to 125cc with a power output up to 11kW (14.6bhp).

Practical on road training

Our training will ensure that you are well prepared for the test, covering a variety of roads and traffic conditions. Time will be spend on rider awareness, anticipation, planning, defensive riding, machine control, moving off, observation, meeting and dealing with other road users, overtaking, hazards, riding in traffic, and riding on the open road.

Practical on road test

The motorcycle test will last for approximately 40 minutes and will cover riding in town and more open roads including dual carriageway. The examiner will be in radio contact with you and may follow in either a car or a motorcycle. During the test you will be required to complete a series of compulsory exercises along the route.

Practical test can be booked online at or by calling the DSA on 0870 01 01 372. If training with us we can book the test for you alternatively call us we may have test date already booked.

Remember; you will only be able to book a practical test if you have a Theory pass certificate.
